Adams was born to an U.S. Army officer in Italy and grew to be a resident of Castle Rock Colorado. At the end of the 1990s, she began professional dance and acting in Boulder's Dinner Theatre and Country Dinner Playhouse. After that, she relocated to Minnesota and was cast in Drop Dead Gorgeous, a mock documentarian film about beauty contests. Her move to Los Angeles after making her debut in the screen with a good-natured but snarky contestant. Her children include Kelly Curtis (and Jamie Lee Curtis) and Jamie Lee Curtis. Leigh was found by actress Norma Shearer and was offered a contract to join MGM in the late 1940s. In the 1960s, Leigh appeared in films that were popular, including Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho and Living It Up.
